Remembering Sunderland Memory Box Workshop

Join us for the first workshop of our project, where we'll introduce the goals and activities aimed at preserving and enhancing Sunderland's natural and urban heritage. Participants will have the opportunity to share their personal stories of growing up in Sunderland—what they miss, what has changed, and their hopes for the future. In this creative session, you'll be invited to contribute to a collective memory box and map of Sunderland, marking significant places and memories on the map, which will be part of a visual board showcasing the city's heritage. This is a hands-on, interactive workshop designed to engage the community in storytelling and reflection on Sunderland's past and future.
