Project Space 29

    Norfolk Street Arts CIC project space supports the diverse presentation of new artwork,  heritage & historical exhibits,  productions, commissions and events.  We provide a space for early-career creatives  in their artistic and curatorial development.

 

      This large open room with lovely views onto the park. This project space is open to all forms of creativity and experimentation to foster an exchange of ideas open to the wider public and the regional creative community. This space is a short walk from Sunderland’s Museum and winter gardens and two doors down from MBC Arts Wellbeing and is close to other creative studios and gallery spaces in Sunderland.

54 John Street studios

    With fantastic links to city centre train stations and bus routes, Norfolk Street Arts supports 16 artists across three floors in 54 John Street. Developed in cooperation with the buildings owners and MBC ArtsWellbeing, this space offers bright, spacious and a community of creatives.

      54 is sectioned up into varying studios of differing size fostering opportunity for a variety of creative practices.

   Studio prices are inclusive of monthly mentoring sessions which are focused on identifying funding and applying to opportunities.

    We have four studios available at this point in time. Please email or message us for potential up and coming spaces & opportunities.
